Eligibility
•Must apply and gain admission to the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) program at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
•Must be currently employed full-time by an eligible collaborating organization (nonprofit, government agency, or community organization)
•Employer must agree to support your application and complete an organization application to serve as a Bloomberg Collaborating Organization
•Work must align with one of the five focus areas: Addiction and Overdose, Adolescent Health, Environmental Challenges, Food Systems for Health, or Violence
•Must commit to remaining with your collaborating organization for at least one year following the completion of the DrPH degree
•Must meet all academic and professional experience prerequisites for the JHU DrPH program (including a master's degree and relevant professional public health experience)
•Open to individuals living and working in the United States
Details
The Bloomberg Fellows Program provides world-class training to individuals working on the front lines of five critical public health challenges facing the United States: addiction and overdose, adolescent health, environmental challenges, food systems for health, and violence.
Fellows pursue a part-time Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health while continuing to work with their current employer. The program bridges academic training and public health practice, fostering a nationwide network of leaders and organizations dedicated to advancing public health solutions.
