•Enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Library and Information Science (LIS), Archival Studies, Museum Studies, History, Humanities, or a related field

•Excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge of German is considered an advantage

•Demonstrated knowledge of cataloging standards, metadata creation, and library management systems

•Strong research, organizational, and interpersonal skills

•Ability to work independently and effectively in a multicultural team environment

•Must be eligible to obtain appropriate visa and internship authorization for Austria

The Salzburg Global Seminar Library Internship offers candidates practical, hands-on experience working in the historic library and archives at Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, Austria. Interns contribute to cataloging, digitization, archival preservation, research assistance for seminar fellows and staff, and general library management. In addition to daily responsibilities, interns have opportunities to interact with international experts and participate in Salzburg Global Seminar sessions and cultural events.
