Eligibility
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in wildlife ecology, biology, natural resources management, environmental science, fisheries, rangeland ecology, or a closely related field
•Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Demonstrated interest or background in field research and quantitative data analysis
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both laboratory and field conditions
•Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for fieldwork as required
Details
This Graduate Research Assistantship position is hosted through the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management job board at Texas A&M University. The position supports an incoming M.S. or Ph.D. student to conduct rigorous scientific research in natural resource management, wildlife ecology, or conservation biology. The selected candidate will design and execute field research, analyze ecological data, publish findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and present at national or regional conferences while completing their graduate degree requirements.
