Eligibility
•Must be a citizen of one of the 15 ECOWAS Member States
•Be 32 years of age or younger at the time of application
•Hold a Master's degree or equivalent recognized qualification in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines
•Possess relevant professional experience (typically 1 to 3 years) in finance, development, or related fields
•Be proficient in at least one of the official languages of ECOWAS (English, French, Portuguese); knowledge of a second official language is an added advantage
•Demonstrate strong analytical, quantitative, communication, and interpersonal skills

The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) Young Professionals Program (YPP) is a competitive capacity-building and talent development initiative designed to recruit, develop, and retain promising young professionals from ECOWAS member countries. Participants undergo structured professional rotations across the Bank's operational, financial, and strategic departments, receive high-level mentorship, and gain practical experience in development finance, project appraisal, and regional economic integration.
