MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and wishing to acquire new skills through advanced training and international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility. These fellowships are open to researchers of any nationality, including those from African countries, who wish to undertake their postdoctoral research in Europe or globally (for Global Fellowships). The 2026 call for applications is anticipated to open in April 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Researchers of any nationality (including from African countries) can apply. Must hold a PhD degree at the time of the deadline. Must have a maximum of eight years' experience in research from the date of the award of their PhD degree. Must comply with mobility rules (not having resided or carried out their main activity in the country of the host organisation for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline).
Financial Benefits
Fully funded, covering living allowance, mobility allowance, family allowance (if applicable), research, training and networking costs, and management and indirect costs for the host institution.
