Details
The scholarship is provided by the South Moravian Centre for International Mobility (JCMM) to support talented foreign students from non-EU countries. The program aims to help students who wish to study in the Czech language at partner universities in Brno. Partner universities include Masaryk University, Brno University of Technology, Mendel University, Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, and the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno. Applications are typically open from November to January each year.
Eligibility Criteria
•Foreign students from third countries outside the European Union.
•Applicants must be applying for a follow-up Master's or Ph.D. study program at a partner university in Brno, South Moravian Region.
•The chosen study program must be taught in the Czech language.
•Applicants must have a good knowledge of the Czech language to pass the entrance examinations.
•Applicants must not be currently studying at any university or college in the Czech Republic.
Financial Benefits
•A monthly scholarship of 9,000 CZK to help cover basic living costs.
•The financial support is provided for the first academic year of study.
•Free tuition (studies conducted in the Czech language at public universities in the Czech Republic are exempt from tuition fees).
•Free administrative support and consultation provided by JCMM.
