The ETH Zurich Postdoctoral Fellowship Program supports young, promising researchers who have already demonstrated the ability to conduct independent research. The program aims to attract top talent to ETH Zurich and foster cutting-edge research. There are typically two calls per year, in March and September. The deadline for the September 2026 call would be around September 1, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed their PhD degree no more than two years prior to the submission deadline. They must propose their own research project and identify a host professor at ETH Zurich. International applicants are welcome. The fellowship is highly competitive.

Fully funded, including salary, research costs, and a contribution to travel expenses. The fellowship provides a competitive salary for two years.
