The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program is designed to attract and retain top-tier postdoctoral talent, both nationally and internationally, to develop their leadership potential and to position them for success as research leaders of tomorrow. The program is unique in its emphasis on the synergy between an applicant’s research ambitions and the institution’s strategic priorities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be nominated by a Canadian institution. Must have fulfilled all degree requirements for a PhD, PhD-equivalent, or health professional degree between September 15, 2023, and September 30, 2027 (inclusive). Must not hold a faculty position or equivalent. Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, and international citizens from all countries, including African nations.
Financial Benefits
CAD 70,000 per year for two years.
