The Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) is an initiative by the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub designed to empower young leaders to drive food systems transformation at local, national, and global levels. The program aims to provide youth with the tools, knowledge, and networks necessary to influence policy and implement sustainable solutions. Over a period of four months, selected participants engage in virtual sessions, interactive workshops, and peer-to-peer learning focused on leadership development, advocacy, and food systems dynamics. The cohort works towards the common goal of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through food systems innovation.
Eligibility Criteria
•Aged between 18 and 30 years old
•Passionate about food systems transformation
•Representing diverse backgrounds, including youth-led organizations, small-scale farmers, entrepreneurs, and researchers
•Committed to participating in all program activities over the 4-month duration
•Proficient in English, as the program is conducted in English
