Eligibility
•Bachelor's or Master's degree (or currently enrolled student) in Computer Science, Automation, Mathematics, Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines
•Strong mathematical foundation and solid programming skills (e.g., Python, PyTorch, C/C++)
•High self-motivation, strong interest in academic research, and good communication and teamwork skills
•Prior research experience and publications at top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, SIGGRAPH) is a strong plus
•Satisfy the HKUST(GZ) English proficiency requirements (e.g., TOEFL-iBT >= 80 or IELTS overall score >= 6.5 with all sub-scores >= 5.5) for PhD applicants
Details
Dr. Tao Hu's research group at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) [HKUST(GZ)], Artificial Intelligence Thrust, Information Hub, is recruiting fully funded Ph.D. students, Postdocs, Research Assistants (RA), and Visiting/Research Interns. The lab's research focuses on cutting-edge problems at the intersection of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Generative AI, 3D/4D Vision, Digital Humans, and Embodied AI.
Prospective candidates are invited to submit their CV, academic transcripts, representative publications/code repositories, and a brief statement of research interests directly via email.
