Details
The Generation Connect Young Leadership Programme, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in partnership with Huawei, is designed to empower young leaders to drive digital transformation in their communities. The programme supports youth-led projects that leverage technology to bridge the digital divide, advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and create inclusive digital ecosystems.
Eligibility Criteria
•Must be between 18 and 28 years of age at the time of application.
•Must have a concrete digital project or idea that addresses a specific community need and promotes digital inclusion.
•Must demonstrate leadership potential and a strong commitment to community development.
•Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
•Open to youth from all regions globally.
Financial Benefits
•Financial grant (up to USD 10,000) to support the implementation or scaling of the selected digital project.
•Access to comprehensive mentorship, capacity-building, and training sessions provided by ITU and Huawei experts.
•Opportunities to attend and present at global ITU events and conferences.
•Networking opportunities with global digital leaders, policymakers, and fellow young innovators.
