The University of Amsterdam is offering two fully funded PhD positions in Educational Data Science. The successful candidates will conduct research applying advanced data science and machine learning techniques to educational data to improve learning outcomes and educational practices. The positions are based at the Research Institute of Child Development and Education (RICDE).
Eligibility Criteria
•Master's degree in Educational Sciences, Psychology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field.
•Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
•Experience with programming languages such as R or Python.
•Excellent command of written and spoken English.
•Strong motivation to pursue a PhD and interest in educational data science.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Financial Benefits
•Fully funded PhD position for 4 years (employment contract).
•Gross monthly salary ranging from approximately €2,770 in the first year to €3,539 in the fourth year (standard Dutch university scale).
