The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) programme supports high-calibre international students who wish to study at master’s or PhD level in Ireland. The programme is managed by the Higher Education Authority (HEA).
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have domiciliary of origin outside of the EU/EEA/Switzerland/United Kingdom.
- Applicants must have an offer of admission to an eligible Irish Higher Education Institution for a full-time Master's or PhD programme.
- Must demonstrate a strong rationale for pursuing their study in Ireland that indicates how a GOI-IES fits into their longer-term goals.
Financial Benefits
The scholarship provides:
- A €10,000 stipend for one academic year.
- A full waiver of all tuition and other registration costs at the higher education institution.
