The Humboldt Research Fellowship enables highly qualified researchers from abroad to spend extended periods of research in Germany. It supports research projects in cooperation with academic hosts in Germany. This fellowship is open to researchers from all countries and disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a doctorate or equivalent qualification. Applicants must have completed their doctorate within the last four years. Applicants must have a good command of German or English. Applicants must have a research proposal and a host at a German university or research institution. Researchers from all countries are eligible.
Financial Benefits
Monthly stipend (depending on academic qualifications and age), travel allowance, and support for research expenses.
