The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) is a government-sponsored scholarship program by the Korean government to provide international students with opportunities to pursue higher education in Korea at universities in the Republic of Korea. It aims to promote international exchange and mutual friendship.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be citizens of the country from which they are applying (many African countries are eligible). Applicants must be under 40 years of age. Applicants must hold a bachelor's or master's degree. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.64 out of 4.0 or higher. Applicants must meet Korean language or English proficiency requirements.
Financial Benefits
Tuition fees, living expenses, airfare, settlement allowance, Korean language training costs, and research support.
