National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) provides scholarships for international students pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees. Managed by the Office of International Affairs (OIA), the scholarship aims to attract top international talent and assist students during their degree studies in Taiwan.
Eligibility Criteria
•Must be an international student applying for or currently enrolled in a degree program at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU)
•Must demonstrate outstanding academic performance and research capability
•Must not be a recipient of other Taiwanese government scholarships (such as MOE, MOFA, or NSTC scholarships) concurrently
•Must satisfy the language proficiency requirements (English or Chinese) of the respective department
Financial Benefits
•Full or partial tuition and basic course credit fee waivers
•Monthly living stipend depending on program level:
-Undergraduate: Up to NTD 5,000
-12,000 per month
-Master's: Up to NTD 7,000
-16,000 per month
-Doctoral: Up to NTD 10,000
-29,000 per month
•Award duration is evaluated and renewed periodically based on academic performance
