The Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management at Texas A&M University offers a Graduate Research Assistantship position for an ambitious M.S. or Ph.D. student. The successful candidate will conduct research focused on wildlife ecology, natural resource management, and habitat conservation. Duties include designing research protocols, collecting and analyzing field data, preparing reports for funding agencies, writing scientific manuscripts for publication, and presenting findings at professional meetings.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Wildlife Science, Ecology, Fisheries, Biology, Natural Resources, or a closely related field
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities
Ability to perform independent field work under outdoor conditions
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field work
