This position offers a graduate research opportunity posted through the Texas A&M Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management (RWFM) Job Board. Selected graduate students will conduct cutting-edge field and laboratory research while pursuing an advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.). The student will be expected to design and implement research studies, analyze ecological datasets, publish findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and present at national and regional conferences.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's or Master's degree in wildlife ecology, biology, natural resources, environmental science, rangeland ecology, fisheries, or a closely related field
Minimum GPA requirement (typically 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Prior field and/or laboratory research experience in ecological or natural resource disciplines
Demonstrated quantitative or statistical skills (e.g., proficiency in R, GIS, or related tools is preferred)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in demanding field conditions
Must meet general graduate school admission requirements at the hosting institution
