Details
The Master's Programme in International Health (MPH) at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin is part of the DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) program. It aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to address complex health challenges in low- and middle-income countries. The program focuses on global health issues, epidemiology, public health, and health systems management. Applications for the 2027/2028 academic year will open in August 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be from a developing country (DAC list, including African countries). Hold a Bachelor's degree (minimum 3 years of study) in a health-related field. Have at least two years of professional experience in a health-related field after obtaining the Bachelor's degree. Demonstrate good English language skills (TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent). Age limit usually 36 years for Master's applicants.
Financial Benefits
Fully funded by DAAD. Includes a monthly stipend of 934 Euros, contributions to health, accident, and personal liability insurance, travel allowance to and from Germany, and tuition fees waiver. The scholarship also covers study and research subsidies.
