The Clarendon Fund is the largest scholarship scheme at the University of Oxford, offering around 140 new fully-funded scholarships each year to academically excellent graduate students from all around the world. All Clarendon Scholarships cover tuition and college fees in full and provide a generous grant for living costs.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to all graduate applicants (Master's and DPhil/PhD) from all countries (including African countries) who apply to the University of Oxford by the January deadline. Selection is based on academic merit and potential. There is no separate application process for the Clarendon Fund Scholarships; applicants are automatically considered if they apply for a graduate course at Oxford.
Financial Benefits
Fully funded, covering all university and college fees, and a generous annual grant for living costs (which is sufficient to cover accommodation and living expenses).
