The Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship program is a global program that identifies and supports exceptional PhD students who are pursuing research in areas relevant to Microsoft and the broader computing community. The fellowship provides financial support and opportunities for mentorship and collaboration with Microsoft researchers.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to PhD students who are enrolled in an eligible university in one of the participating regions (including US, Canada, Europe, UK, Australia, etc.). Students must be nominated by their university. Demonstrate excellent academic performance and research potential in computer science or related fields. Citizens of all countries are eligible, including African countries, provided they are enrolled in an eligible university in a participating region.
Financial Benefits
Fully funded, including tuition and fees for two academic years, a stipend for living expenses, and a travel allowance to attend conferences.
