The Dresden Leibniz Graduate School (DLGS) is a joint initiative of the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) and Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden). The graduate school offers fully funded doctoral fellowships for international doctoral candidates working on spatial development and sustainability transformations. Fellows participate in a structured doctoral program with interdisciplinary supervision and training.
Eligibility Criteria
•Master's degree (or equivalent qualification) in spatial planning, geography, urban development, economics, environmental sciences, sociology, or related fields
•Excellent academic record and strong motivation for interdisciplinary research
•High level of English language proficiency (written and spoken)
•Research proposal closely aligned with the DLGS core research topics on spatial development and sustainability transformations
