The Chinese Government Scholarship program supports international students, teachers, and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities. Applications for the 2027/2028 academic year typically open in November 2026 and close in March/April 2027, depending on the application channel (Embassy or University).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China (including African countries).
Be in good health.
For Bachelor's: high school diploma, under 25.
For Master's: Bachelor's degree, under 35.
For PhD: Master's degree, under 40.
Meet the language proficiency requirements of the chosen university.
Financial Benefits
