The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) is a highly competitive program for international undergraduate students. Each year from May to October, top-ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship supervised by Canadian university faculty members across diverse disciplines, including science, engineering, mathematics, humanities, and social sciences.
Eligibility Criteria
•Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an eligible institution in an eligible partner country or region
•Have at least one to three semesters remaining in your undergraduate degree program as of Fall of the internship year
•Maintain a high grade point average (GPA) or equivalent academic standard
•Be fluent in oral and written English and/or French
•Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application submission
•Be available to participate in a 12-week consecutive research internship in Canada between May and October
•Select 3 to 7 research projects in at least two different Canadian provinces
