The ECOWAS Immersion Internship Programme for Young Graduates offers young professionals from ECOWAS Member States hands-on experience in regional integration, international development, public administration, and specialized technical fields. The programme aims to contribute to youth empowerment, enhance professional competencies, and familiarise participants with the work and missions of ECOWAS institutions and agencies.
Eligibility Criteria
•Must be a citizen of an ECOWAS Member State
•Must be 32 years of age or younger at the time of application
•Must hold a Bachelor's degree (Licence), Master's degree, or equivalent qualification from a recognized university
•Must be fluent in at least one official ECOWAS language (English, French, or Portuguese)
•Must not have previously benefited from an internship at ECOWAS institutions or agencies
Financial Benefits
•Monthly living stipend provided for the duration of the programme
•Round-trip travel coverage from the candidate's country of residence to the host ECOWAS institution
•Medical and accident insurance coverage during the internship
•Professional exposure, mentorship, and certificate of completion
